Tax Method 5 - FICA/Medicare Exempt

An employee who changed FICA/Medicare status (Tax Method = 5) during the year is receiving two W2s.  One for Tax History Type = 4 records, and one for other history records.  I want to confirm this is correct functionality for Tax Method 5.  Thanks
