Update existing Element with Reduce Regular

Hi,

We are trying to see if it is possible to update an existing element entry with the box 'Reduce Regular' checked Yes. We have the ability to update this through the Element Description screen on the element, but does not work when testing on an employee through a payroll/quick pay. The element in production has been paid on already, so we cannot delete the link and/or the element itself. I am pretty sure this cannot be updated after it has been paid on, but seeing if anyone has had any history of being able to update this. We would prefer
