Memory upgrade with current capacity of 64GB to newly bought memory of 128GB

Hi Experts,

I'm going to upgrade memory from current capacity of 64GB to newly bought memory of 64GB ( 8 X4GB DIMMs of 4 memory board= 128GB).  Meaning total of memory after upgrade is 192GB

I just want to know if it is possible because current memory of the server are (8 X 2GB DIMMs  ) X 4 memory boards ).
