Does anyone know how to update the User Preferences for NOTIFICATION_PREFENCE on the WF_ROLES table

We've found that a particular user has the NOTIFICATION_PREFERENCE set to Disabled on WF_ROLES and we don't know how this happened and if there is a front end screen that can be used to update this field.  Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
