eSupplier Registration - User name requirements

Hello,

I recently ran across some issues related to the types of user names Suppliers create when registering as a Supplier through eSupplier Connect. When folks create a user ID for any type of online registration- for any company, many use their email address- which contains special characters (@). It seems Supplier's can do this for eSupplier Connect as well, which doesn't always work out well down stream.

I am looking for ways to control,configure, require a certain standard when Supplier's create a user name. Just putting comments on the registration page hasn't been helpful- as folks tend to over look instructions.
