Default Thru date to change.....at present we get 31/12/15

Hi GURU's,,

At present whenever we enter the new price of the cost then the thru date of ending date is getting default as "31/12/15"...which we would like to change it as "31/12/2024"

So where is the setting to change it...it can be normal or we need to go though a process of steps.
