1099 MISC mask num_1099

We need to mask the num_1099 value printing in the RECIPIENT’S identification number box of the 1099 MISC form printed by Oracle Payables.  We are running eBS version 12.1.3.  Each year we install the latest Payables 1099 patch including the template for the Copy B MISC form.  We print our 1099 MISC forms using the Payables concurrent request.  We want to mask the num_1099 value so that only the last four digits print.  I know we can open the Copy B form in Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit the template but I don’t know if we can edit the num_1099
