Replication is stuck and do not proceed to synchronizing

The replicat is stuck and do not proceed to change synchronizing.  But,  The replicat is in "RUNNING" status and number of trial files keep incrementing.  So I have checked the database to find any open or long running sessions and surprisingly found that GG session is hung, but couldn't find what caused it to hung as the database looks normal with no issues.  

So I attempted to stop replicat, but it didn't work and even I killed it and restarted the replicat and there is no luck.  Replicat is not progressing at all, though check point keep updating, since GG session got hung in the database.
