in Billing and Revenue Management (MOSC) Question

What is the best approach to compute the product pro rate amount in the given scenario.

For eg. Product A is a Annual Cycle Forward Event with Single Rate Plan.

It also has proration calculation based on amount used.

Scaled Amount: 99 $

Units: None

Business validation is that 99 $ is fixed for one year effective from 1st Jan YYYY.

If purchase is done on 2 Feb YYYY, than the amount charged from customer should be for the period 2 Feb- 31 Dec and the renewal to take place on 1st Jan of next year with 99 $.

We wish to display the effective amount to the Customer before any purchase is done.
