we are in the process of upgrading the firmware of the hpproliant blade server how to know the curre

Dears,

We installed the solaris 08/11 on the hp prolient server, now our hardware teem is planning to upgrade the firmware of the blade.

They asked me to check the present kernel version of the os whether it is compatible to upgrade the firmware.

In hp site they recommended to install the new patch 147441-21.

Is there any challenges while doing the firmware upgrade.
