Below is what application team says:


Recently we got a communication from our Active Directory team that we have  VIP (Virtual IP address) pointing to the name servers (DNS). They have recommended that we should use VIP instead of individual/dedicated DNS servers, so as to prevent any issues in case one of the name server goes down.

We need to perform this change for all the servers in our environment and production servers being one of them. Upon checking, we found that production servers are not pointing to VIP, instead they have the primary and secondary DNS values set. In order to correct them, we would need to make changes in the ‘
