PSU or upgrade CRS/GI - What's the best way to back up what you have?

For 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure, what is the best way to backup your existing config?  I know to do the following:

     backup the $GRID_HOME using tar or some other method

     make sure OCR backups are running and are successful.

What else should I backup to ensure I can put everything back like it was if we have to?  Perhaps my PSU failed or the upgrade caused problems and we needed to go back to 11gR2?  If this is answered somewhere else, please point me in the right direction. I've been unable to find it via search in support
