how to process paroll for assignment status change in the middle of the pay period
we have situation where employee's assignment status changes from "Active Assignment" to "unpaid Leave" in the middle of the pay period. since at the period end date, the assignment status is unpaid(do not process payroll) , the assignment is not processed. but the employee should be paid for the first half o the period.
is there any way to handle it. ( we do not have retro pay, proration etc in our system)
