Ship Method default in Internal sales Order

Not able to get the default shipping Method in Internal Sales Order.

Tried with following options as per the Defaulting Rules:

1. Inputted the Shipping method in Customer Ship To address and tried creating the Internal Sales Order but unable to find the Shipping method in the Internal Sales Order.

2. Inputted the Shipping method in Transaction types form and created the Internal Sales Order but unable to find the Shipping method in the Internal Sales Order.

3. Tried creating the Sales Order and see whether it is populating the Shipping method but a Note populating as Validation failed for the field- Shipping Method AWAU ALCOA. Not sure where else this Shipping method has been set to AWAU ALCOA other than Transaction types form.
