How to know which is the MAC IP when IP is not online?

How can I find the MAC address of an IP, where IP is not active, and when not know the MAC address ??

The operating system is Solaris CLuster 3.x.

The IP know her but is not responding to your IP, and you need to post it but the MAC is required.

It happens that dropped out with the command arp -d IP.

Something important is that IP is a LDOM.
