Opportunity without Revenue

Hi,

Our business process does not have the usage of Revenue within Opportunity. We would like to use Revenue as an independent entity with cardinality of M:1 with opportunity.

As per Siebel docs, everytime an opportunity is created revenue record is created. Can I disable this? Suggestions please.

I have removed few references from BC Search Spec, all user properties. Tried removing the MVL Link and fields but having conflict.

Has anyone come across this ?
