Question regarding Production Lines - Work in Process

Hello Experts!

I got one question regarding the "Production Lines" (Responsibility - Work in Process).

In the Responsibility "Work in Process" I already define jobs, routings and materials, so that it all can be costed in the clients Manufacturing Operations. Everything is working fine.

But right now the client is asking If We can create Production line, despite the fact that the costing is accounted by materials (and not by completed products).

My questions are,

1) What is the impact of the production Lines in the Inventory?
2) Creating a production line will affect the costing (that is implemented at the moment)?
