FDMEE data truncation policy

Hi All
We have a working environment in place which has FDMEE for manual file data loads.
Every time data file is pushed it increases FDMEE database size by a huge amount.
What we want to do is basically design a policy where in we can limit that size as we cannot provide unlimited space to FDMEE database.
Is there any mechanism by which we can do that and what would be the implications of that.
