R12 Fixed Asset Location Cost Center

Hi,

I have relatively very less experience in FA and GL , but now I have to fix an issue related to FA.

The user is complaining that the Location Flexfield value (6161) for one particular Location (in R12  Fixed Assets) is not used as the cost-centre during normal activities like journal import.

Instead it is using the value (4444)  from Accounting flexfield.

Can someone please let me know why this could happen?

Does Oracle allows DFF to be used as cost centre? Or is this a customization?

If it is a customization, where possibly can the customization be done?
