EB Tax - Tax Partner integration

We are on release 11.5.10.2 and use PL/SQL based tax calculation. We invested heavily in this PL/SQL based tax calculation for our business needs and it works great.

EB tax has no such plug in but there is Tax partner integration whereby , we can create a "tax partner service registration" for our own service and then use this service to access api and all ZX% views.

I know that Vertex and Taxware use it and we are not using them , my question is can we also create our own service and use it.

Has anyone attempted this ?
