What is a "Full cycle in adop" for a hotpatch in R12.2 ?

Hi,

I have many questions for R12.2 patching.  I've read the manual, but still have questions.

1. What is a full cycle of adop for a hotpatch?  Asked by Oracle, I can't answer  because I don't know what a 'full cycle" is.

Oracle Question :  Could you please confirm before starting u10124646.drv did you finished completing full cycle of adop?


background. ->  We are upgrading 11i to R12.2.   This is nls lang patches for the help patch before the 12.2.4 patch.  page

2. What patch creates the EBSapps.env file in the Apps base directory?  Or at what point in the upgrade is the file created?   The only person i know that did an upgrade took this file and edited  from someone elses R12.2 environment
