esu installation methods

Hi experts,

I am new to installaton of esu.It may be a dumb question.please clarify few doubts i have:

1.when installing an esu we get check box of "create omw project".what is the background process when we select this option and what if we do not select this option?

2.if we do not select create omw project then do we need to do update package or full package
