Is there a way to freeze manually entered SO dates in a SO line?

Hi,

We are using SO with transportation management system and when a SO line is created, system will automatically calculate Scheduled Pick, promised ship, and promised delivery according to the lead times setups. However, this information is average and not always correct, so whenever we get more accurate information for a specific SO we'd like to enter each date manually and have the system keep them, even for backordered SO that have no shipment number yet.
