Discoverer ORA-01841

Can anyone help with this?

Our client has a pre-writen Discoverer report. It has a pop up condition which you can leave blank (Reports on all Cost Centres) or input specific cost entres.

It does not fail when you input any cost centre. I have even enhanced it to look at Cost Centres starting A%, H% or S% and CAN'T get to it fail.

However, if I run it with no cost centre it fails.

The error message is ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0

Our client informs that it ran correctly at the end of December
