Prorated Material cost for partial completions

We are using actual cost discreet manufacturing with outside processing.  We manually issue all components to the outside vendor but the finished parts are returned in multiple partial completions.  When we process the partial completions, the total cost of all material issued is rolled into the first partial completion.  How do I get the material cost to prorate to the number of pieces completed?
