Creating a 3 node RAC physical standby database on Virtual machines

Hi

We have a 3 node RAC database , which is hosted on physical servers. Now, client is intending to setup a 3 node Physical standby database for this database on a Virtual machine cluster.

i.e a 3 node RAC built on virtual machines. I need to know if this is feasible first in place keeping switch over / failover activities in view.

Existing 3 node RAC database is on Linux O/S with HP hardware.
