Can we expire child item instance when it is issued WIP Job

Hi All,

Can we expire child item automatically which is issued to a assembly as a component item to a WIP job.

Below steps have been followed but couldn't expire child item instance.

1. Created one custom IB subtype and associated the IB subtype to WIP issue.

2. I have entered status for the IB subtype as 'EXPIRED'.

3. Created a work order less completion transaction for parent item 'A' and a component 'B' has been issued to parent item 'A'.

4. After completing this transaction, one hand quantity has been raised by 1 for parent item 'A'.

5 Child didn't expire, still it is in expired status.
