ORA-01407: cannot update ("APPLSYS"."AD_PM_PREFERENCES"."OPTION_VALUE") to NULL

I am getting the following error.

ORA-01407: cannot update ("APPLSYS"."AD_PM_PREFERENCES"."OPTION_VALUE") to NULL

When I am trying to update the staging directory in OAM to analyze adpatch using patch wizard.

How can I update this column to Null.

select * from  AD_PM_PREFERENCES
