Location Transfer of Lot in Receipt Route?

Does anyone know of a mechanism for moving locations of inventory lots that are in a receipt route that doesn't involve going through multi-location?  The problem we have is that in order to update the location of the lot, the user has to get one OK button click away from moving to stock. There are frequent inventory transfers of lots in a receipt route and users frequently click ok instead of cancel when returned to movement and disposition screen after updating location on multi-location screen. I have an SR open for the same inquiry but wanted to put a feeler
