Is EPM11 compatible with Oracle database 12c?

Referring to the latest Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System - Supported Platforms matrix, there is a note which might be interpreted to mean that 12c is not supported.

Heading:  Oracle Database (Data Source & Repository) 12.1.0.1+ is listed for EPM11 11.1.2.4 on Windows, but the corresponding notes include:

Note:  "5. Oracle Database 12.1.0.1+ is supported only when used with WebLogic Server release 10.3.6+ and FMW 11.1.1.7+."

This seems rather problematic, with 11gR2 support ending before EPM11 support.

We anticipate being in "extended support" with EPM11, but had not anticipated having to keep reporting targets at 11g during our EPM11 retirement efforts.

Is anyone running EPM11 with a Data Source that is 12c?
