Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Prorate Calendar use in Straight line Depreciation method

Hi ,

I need to understand the use of Prorate Calendar during the Straight line depreciation calculation

As per my understanding , the Prorate Convention is used at asset category level to calculate the depreciation in the first year

Additionally , for subsequent periods , we use the Divide depreciation flag & Depreciation Calender

So how does Prorate Calendar impact the Straight line Depreciation calculation
