How to map metadata between two different Hyperion EPMA applications?

Hi,

I have two EPMA applications for HPB on EPM-System 11.1.2.2.

One app (say App1) acts as a source (for some dimesions)  for other application (say App2).

If I make any change in App1, I have to make the same changes on App2 manually which is a tedious job.

Now I am looking for a way to map the metadata between these two applications so that if I make any change in App1 it should reflect in App2.

I have researched on it and what I got is that I can do it using Shared Library utility in EPMA. But the scenario is that I have already App1 bulit in Production with its Local Dimensions and I can't make any changes on its dimensions library.
