How to implement digital signatures in Oracle EBS?

We are using Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and we have custom built oracle reports that use BI  templates.   These templates were bulit using the BI publisher word Addin (i.e, Oracle  BI Publisher Template Builder for word ). We  DO NOT have BI publisher tool.
The new requirement we have is to  implement digital signature in these BI templates.
I have modified the BI templates to use digital signature using the Adode Acrobat Pro.
But I am unable to upload these BI templates  in the XML Publisher reponsibilty in Oracle Applications. I get the attached error saying "You have encountered an unexpected error "
