Vertex - Custom integration of Sales Tax Q Series into ASP.NET

I have been tasked with creating a .Net program that will reference the Vertex code base and calculate sales tax.  I have downloaded the demo program, used it as a starting point for new code, made modifications, and I have it calculating locally through an ASP.NET application.  However, once I deploy it to our web server it fails to recognize the assemblies.  I have gone through the process of installing the Vertex applications onto the web server and ensuring that they work independently of my code.
