PO output for communication - customization

Hello,

I have added code to GENERATE_XML_FRAGMENT in order to add a new field (for example "XX_TEST"). I have run the process and the xml tag is being generated correctly with the appropriate data ('Y'). When I add this field to the header section of the template (.RTF), it displays the information properly, however when I add it to the line/shipment section ("for-each" loop in the template), it does not display data (just blank). Is there any restriction in displaying custom data elements in template loops?
