Dear community users,

I want to raise your attention towards an issue with certain disks.

While Oracle is always recommending to use the latest patches and firmware versions on devices the current trend of errors occuring on certain product

warrants publishing an alert:

Without Firmware Upgrade, Certain 73GB, 146GB, and 300GB Disks May Fail Due to Excessive Idling on the Same Track (Doc ID 1970015.1)

Please if affected plan to update your disk firmware at the earliest convenience.
