Oacle Database 10gR2 on Exadata

¡Hi!, i'm planning to install 10gR2 on an Exadata X4-2 with Grid software 12.1.0.2 and as far as i know to use ASM disk group for this release of database i have to make sure that the compatibility.rdbms parameter of the disk group is set to 10.2.0.1.0, but with this parameter turns of smartscan , so the question here is does this apply to grid version 12.1.0.2 on Exadata?
