Hi Team,

We have requirement of setting up a database environment using RHEL cluster solution without RAC (due to cost constraints ) to achieve High availability

ALL oracle databases in environment are standalone database instances and are hosted on RHEL6

To achieve HA, we are planning Two node RHEL Cluster setup RCS will be configure for High Availability.

Scenario:

RHEL 6.4 OS cluster (active/passive) + Oracle Enterprise edition 11gR2 (for database without oracle cluster-ware, instead using RH cluster feature.)

Requirement:  is to host 4 DB instances (DB1, DB2, DB3 and DB4) for failover on two RHEL nodes (nodeA and nodeB)

Node 1 : Hosting active DB1 and DB2 instances on Node 1, and passive instances of which (DB1 and DB2) will be on Node2

Howdy, Stranger!
