hsvdatasource.exe process consuming a lot of memory - requires killing process

We have been having an issue recently where our hsvdatasource.exe process memory utilization has been steadily increasing until it maxes out and we have to kill the process. Killing user sessions doesn't seem to help with relieving some of the memory pressure.

What causes the memory utilization to increase for this process and is memory supposed to be periodically released?
