Question regarding Aug 2014 Payables RPC patches and Mass Additions patches

We are planning on applying the August 2014 Payables RPC patches.  We do not use Fixed Assets.  Do we need to follow instructions in Doc Id's 1450194.1 and 1341317.1 regarding applying patches for Mass Additions functionality as instructed in main RPC document, 1397581.1?
