How to deinstall an Oracle Fail safe patch 3.4.2.4?

Hi, I am about to apply the Oracle Fail Safe patch 3.4.2.4 to the production environment. I have already tested the patch on test/uat environment.My question is 'how do I deinstall this patch?'. In the notes it just mentions to 'deinstall this patch', but there isn't an option to just deinstall the patch! Does this mean I would have to deinstall all the Oracle Fail Safe software, and then re-install Oracle Fail Safe 3.4.2.0, and re-configure all the Database groups (which is 3). Is there an easier way? Would the following work:

1. copy Ofs34_1 to another directory, Ofs34_1.prepatch

2. Apply the patch to Ofs34_1.
