upgrading 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 with physical standby

Hi Gurus,

We recently upgraded 11.2.0.3 database having physical standby to 11.2.0.4. The primary database was upgraded successfully. But when we brought the standby database in mount and started the recovery process it is not picking up the archive files from primary. We manually copied few files and did "recover standby database", but later when we checked the status in v$archived_log shows as not applied. Please let me know the cause and resolution for this. We need to know where we went wrong. We have mounted the standby database on 11.2.0.4 software and issued the recovery command.
