Audit Vault Licensing Information

Hello, we need help with Audit Vault Licensing Information

The Document 12.1.2.Licensing Information says "The licensing is based on the number of CPUs on the computers where your secured targets are located. The secured target computer can have multiple processors." This means that the license is for core? CPU = CORE???

Other questions that we have is for previous versions 10g or 11g the licensing formula are the same???
