Location details flows from Parent to child instances install base

Hi,

In install base,

while updating current location and ship to location in parent instance,

is it possible to get that update automatically into its child instance also.

I have checked in user guide and found current and install location are flows from parent to child for relation type 'Component - of', but nothing related to ship to address.
