Normal Item Capitalization at Average Cost not Actual Cost (PO Cost)

Hi

When we create a Normal Item and Issue to Project to OAT; its costed at Average Costing. However the business requirement is to do it on Actual PO cost.

Other than the option of extension; can this be achieved by some other way around like using Lot Cost ?

We can not use Depreciate item as we start depreciation only after put in service.
