EPM 11.1.2.4 - HFM, Planning and Essbase on Linux

We are looking at options to bring together and upgrade existing HFM, Essbase and Planning - currently a mix of Windows 2008 R2 and Solaris 10 servers.

From what I can see, the new HFM 11.1.2.4 is a major rewrite to work on Linux, but only supported on Exalytics, not Exalogic VM with Oracle Linux.

Unlike Essbase which we've been testing under Oracle Linux (enterprise-release-5-11.0.2) on Exalogic platform.

Is there a plan to support HFM on non-Exalytics Linux platforms ?

I've seen a post with instructions where others have got it working after installing missing libraries.
