scan listener IP address mix up

A production 5-node RAC environment had a scan listener setup during the upgrade from 10.2.0.5 to 11.2.0.3 and all was good until someone decided to create a scan listener for another RAC environment with the same name.  Upon discovery of the problem the IPAM was requested to change the IP back to the original addresses, which was done.  However, in between the time the "bad" ips were removed from the scan, and the original IP were reset for the scan, the scan picked up different IP.  How can I force the scan to use the correct IP?

Would this work and would there be negative impact to running sessions?
