Oracle database 11g Admin client : tools and security

Hi,

I'm working on the security of our databases.

More particularly, on the way our databases could be damaged/destructed or sensitive data could be accessed.

One point is that Oracle Admin Client is installed on each PC.

That enables the access to our databases through SQL Plus and thus potentially threaten the security.

Are there other tools provided with Admin client that could be used to ?

  • Access data
  • Damage/destruct databases
