export / Import users security

Hi,

I would like to export only the Shared Services users and groups from Essbase 9.3.1 to import them on Shared Services 11.1.2.3.

I have 2 possible solutions:

1 - using MaxL, but I do not know how to develop the script in order to take only the SS users.

2 - using the OLAPUnderground tool, but again it takes all users

When importing the users/groups I get the error group does not exist

Could you please advise and give some examples using the above 2 tools ?

Another question after fresh installation of Essbase 11.1.2.3 is Shared Services ready to use Active Directory or do I need to configure it, if yes how to do it ?
