Operating Unit assigned to a site is not visible in the address selection in CRM Quote Page

We have a requirement to view the Operating Unit assigned to an Address in the CRM Quote Page. The issue is that system automatically assigns a site address to the customer and this site is not the primary site for the operating unit for which the user is creating the quote.

We also raised and SR and support confirmed that there is ER lodged with this request (Bug 2900210) I wanted to know if there is any customization possible for meeting our requirement.
